A source in the Uganda Media Centre, has told this reporter that one of the best known Baganda clan leaders is the main author of Namwatulira, a pro-Museveni propaganda column in a government owned newspaper. The same clan leader is reported to have been on Museveni’s payroll, on and off, for many years. The Namwatulira column is specifically designed to send subconscious level messages to Baganda to always be moderate and patient when dealing with Mr. Museveni. From time to time it pretends to speak against government decisions on Buganda while also consistently painting Mmengo as unreasonable. Indeed, over the past several months it has been softly promoting negotiations and reconciliation between President Museveni and Kabaka Mutebi.
According to the source, “This elder has a long history in the journalism field. The problem is that he is permanently faced with major financial problems due his show-off lifestyle. President Museveni noted these weaknesses in the early 1990s and recruited the gentleman elder to spy on Mmengo and Banda and to quietly push for government’s position on things like Butikiro and Regional Tier. His busiest and most profitable time was when Muliika was the Katikkiro. Because he is much discredited among ordinary Baganda, especially since Katikkiro Ssemwogerere left, writing Namwatulira is now his primary way to earn his state house income, via the government paper.”

Aisha,
Thanks a great deal for this article!
I, however, wish to reassure all the Buganda Kingdom lovers and supporters that whether M7 uses this elderly gentleman in Bukedde who happens to be the Lugave clan Head or any other (e.g. Eng. JB Walusimbi et.al) to destroy Buganda or not, the majority of the Baganda this time around have never been more united and determined than they are right to challenge the reigning dictatorship with its ongoing provocations and intimidations by M7 and his goons against the Kabaka, Baganda and the Buganda Kingdom. We know all these guys too well and they surely also know that we know them and their M7-backed schemes against their own people of Buganda and the Buganda NATION. And just like their old types of yesteryears who never succeeded to sell our ultimate cause to the colonialists, Obote and company, these ones, together with their M7, will also still miserably fail to bring down Buganda. Instead, it is Buganda which will bring them down. Anti berabidde inti “Katonda ne Buganda omwoyo ggumu”!

Hello Musinguzi!
Good to be reading again your postings. You had somehow gotten off the radar in the last couple of days, you know!
Anyhow, I also in total disagreement with Pyati Sololo when he calls U Kayibanda. From your previous postings, I have come to know U as one of the greatest defenders of the Buganda cause.
While it is true that it is a shame that we continue to debate in a foreign Language, viz. English, it is absolutely incorrect to assume that Buganda’s enemies do not understand Luganda. And here is where I now agree with my brother Pyati Sololo. Tell me now, what Luganda proverb or saying doesn’t Tamale Mirundi, Aisha Ka(yi)banda, Kateregga Musaazi, Ford Mirima, Gafabusa, Museveni, Muluri Mukasa, etecetra know??
Incidentally, while we must without doubt have our kaffekye as Bganda, it is also good to continue debating openly in a language understood by all so that all our enemies can get to know how fed up we are fed up. However, I find the efforts of both Pyati and Musinguzi to communicate in the Kabaka’s language (i.e. LUGANDA) most commendable. Just keep it up, folks!!
Awangaale nnyo Ssabasajja Kabaka Muwenda Mutebi!
P.s: Where is Getu, Tara, Alvin, …? Please immediately report for the Buganda cause!!!!!!!!

Well, well I am new to the site and decided to visit it after some anonymous e-mail sent to me. This site carries some good and important information. I advocate for it to be written in Luganda not because its a secret code but some of us who have the means want to be able to print it out and distribute to other baganda who unfortunately may not comprehend the Queen’s language as well as we do. Over to you Editor

Musajja wa Kabaka Busagwa,
I am glad about your concerns for my whereabouts! Don’t worry, I am pretty much around. I was only a bit turned off by David’s articles the preceding week. See, David is one of those nauseating Baganda hatemongers disguising himself as a Muganda. But I tell you what? Even if David were to be a Muganda, it does not make sense to me to have a Muganda who is selling his/her own Baganda brothers and sisters down the river. I would rather have a non-Muganda who appreciates and respects Baganda and Buganda rather than have such sell – outs as David, Nsibambi, Mulondo, Ssekandi,Kinobe,Ssemakula Ndugwa, Ssemakula Kiwanuka, Kagimu,Mirundi, Kateregga, and many others you already know of. To hell with all of them! Their efforts will, however, come to naught!!!
About the most desirable medium of communication on this forum, I would personally suggest that we go with both English and Luganda. I guess it should be incumbent upon someone’s choice of the language they “flow” well while communicating on the site. I mean, personally I would prefer to continue contributing in English where I consider my communication to flow almost effortlessly. Let us leave it open.
I don’t agree with people who say that Luganda is a “secret code” any more. Almost each and every Ugandan, both down there in Uganda and out here in the great Diaspora, speaks and understands Luganda fairly well. Luganda has been, is and will continue to be the unofficial national language. By the way, are we all aware that English is the defacto world language? But has this fact prevented the British from being one of the mighty nations in the world?
I wish all those Baganda in Uganda who will be attending the great assembly at Bulange over matters of our Nyaffe Buganda. I hope those govt. goons do not disorganize it!
Long live the Kabaka of Buganda!

Hello Buganda!!!!!
This is your dude Steve reporting for duty on the BUGANDA NATION’s cause all the way from, you guessed right, Hampstead – Montreal (CANADA!!!!!!). It is so nice and so cool right here, you know. Oh man, it is beginning to feel like ’scarf & mitten’ weather right here in Hampstead. Geeeeh, it’s just really cold outside here, it’s definitely fall weather here in Hampstead!! Hope you guys down there are enjoying the soothingly-baking sunshine. Anyhow, this weather stuff off the point!
I hate double-dealers anywhere in the world. They are just disgusting! Why would would an elderly gentleman such as this one Aisha is reporting about behave in a manner so despicable???? He should go to hell and burn out!!!
My mother talks a great deal about the BUGANDA nation and His Majesty the KABAKA OF BUGANDA!! Oh, how I love Buganda, the Baganda, Buganda and Kabaka!!!
Cheers to y’ll!!!!!!!!!

You are an amuzing lot Baganda. What value Serwajaokwota or Pyati Sololo get from attacking me? If you baganda had not invested you energies in back-biting each other and rediculing outsiders, would you be in this “forever whining” situation? Notherners screwed you while you were to busy calling them Badokolo. Amin go you to bend over and you were satisfied to fight back with Banyanya.
Now Kagame and Museveni (both Banyarwanda) are coming at you from both sides the best you can manage is to call me, an interested witness, Kayibanda. That is when you are not calling them “Muko”. Mulina maaso naye temulaba. Mulina matu naye temuwulira! Mukwasa ekisa.

Pyati, Serwajja, and Musinguzi,
Would you three plz cease this fire of friendly forces?? You all three belong to the same forces and camp fighting a common enemy (M7 and his hopeless Nyarundis)and you are there busy literally tearing each other apart??!!!?. Musinguzi musajja waffe naye ate mwe mumukuba amasasi, sibategera Basajja ba Kabaka!!!
By the way, bravo to all those Baganda and Buganda well-wishers who attended the Saturday Bulange Gwangamujje! Man, it was massive and our enemy, the so-called “Mr. Above” should be prepared for the worst if he continues to have that bush primitive arrogance and attitude towards Buganda Kingdom. Kabaka waffe tamanyirwa atyo ye nga bwalowoza!!
Mwelaba mwe …!!!!!
May the Ganda Nationalism continue to flourish and spread strongly all over!
Awangale nnyo Ayi Ssabasajja Kabaka wa Buganda!
