On November 4, 2008 the Chairman of Ggwangamujje Boston, Rev. Nakabaale Kaasa, sent an email to BugandaPost.com, to deny that he had made a posting earlier that day, which, among other things, attacked one Joe Magandazi and praised UNAA’s Moses Kalemba. Buganda Post has been able to verify that this email is genuine. However, it is not been possible to establish who made the posting which Rev. Nakabaale has denied.
Our source in Ggwangamujje Boston has told this reporter that the “not so smart” impersonation of Rev. is clearly an attempt to confuse the Boston community about Kaasa’s true personality and Buganda credentials, a typical NRM technique. According to the source: “It is a fact that Kaasa has management skills issues but his commitment to Buganda is 100%. The NRM and UNAA diehards simply want to damage him so much that when by the November 9, 2008 general meeting he will have no credibility to retain his chairmanship. In the end, however, it is all about a couple of individuals who stand to be financially rewarded by Museveni for killing Ttabamiruka ’09. And changing the date from September to July 4th, which Kaasa is fighting, would be a huge step towards the cash.”

The quotation above from Rev. Nakabaale is very confusing because there are some additions and changes from the original message. You seem to be quoting from a posting by Rev. Nakabaale on 7th Nov. ‘08(26th Posting on an article entitled “NRM Determined to Extinguish Ttabamiruka ‘09″ of 31st October 2008). This is what I have cut and pasted below:

You can see that there is a difference in the dates i.e. “today 4th November” but in your quotation it is “today 8th November.” In fact the posting was made on November 7th at 8 pm.as you can see from the top. This confuses us even the more and we can not really tell who is the real Rev. Kaasa Nakabaale. Is this again another imposter? Is the meeting there?

1. We received the email from Rev. Nakabaale on November 4, 2008 (see its full reproduction in the story above). If the good Rev. made a mistake and referred to the 7th, it would simply be one of the many mistakes he made – misspelling and other. Otherwise we made no effort to correct the substance of his email, so you can make your own conclusions.
2. We printed Rev. Nakabaale’s claims only after verifying that there are people who have impersonated him on Buganda Post. Check with Rev. Kaasa if “fedbody” is also his login ID.

i sincerely hope that you are replying nsinjogm fully aware that this guy is an NRM electronic hooligan looking for an opening to create kavuyo. This guy is either the same or part of a tag team with Kigongo Ssentongo. He or they are Museveni operatives working internet discussion groups full time to promote pro-Museveni Baganda such as Katikiro wamwe Walusimbi.

By the way, I wonder if Nakindu considers this type of information valueless simply because I am not a Muganda. Fortunately I have met and I am friends with smart and reasonable Baganda.

Thanks for the clarification. My problem is a techinical problem. At this moment I can not identify a posting by an imposter which Rev. Nakabaale is refering to. If you go back to the article “NRM Determined to Extinguish Ttabamiruka ‘09″ of 31st October 2008, there are 27 postings, five of which claim to be authored by Rev. Nakabaale. None of these was posted on Nov 8th, 2008 at 10.08 a.m as the genuine message you have quoted above claims. In fact there is one posted on Nov 8th 2008 at 10.58 a.m. Is he referring to this one?
My opinion is that Rev. Nakabaale should have been precise in his refences so that people can know what he is referring to. It will help us to know which is the genuine message from him and which is not. Otherwise thanks for the good job.

Thank you for your message. Thank you for calling me a “hooligan”. My problem is a techinical one and I wanted clarification. I do not belong to that culture of abusing people. I know of one NRM leader who called past Presidents “swines”. When he too was abused, he unleashed his troops to kidnap, torture and incacerate the suspected culpits.

I’m saddened that greed and chase for personal gain has taken over from sense and desire to liberate ourselves from chains of enslavement. Changing the date of Ttabamiruka from its normal date to the 4th of July is a bad mistake. Reading this posting, I see plenty moves similar to what we’re used to see from the regime in Kampala. Whoever wants to save the UNAA is fooling themselves because we shall continue to work against it. Next year, UK and Europe will hold a big Ttabamiruka that will take away anything you would have gained by moving Ttabamiruka USA to the 4 of July.
I advise decent Baganda in USA to remain focused and form a splinter group to continue the good work and intentions of Ttabamiruka USA. At a time when the tide could be Changing politically in our favour, I’m shocked that we cannot agree to work together and free ourselves.

Boy, oh Boy!!! What a great theatrical piece between the “twin” Rev. Nakabaales?? This is a real Katemba coming outta the Gwangamujje Boston Chapter!!! I have really been entertained, seriously!!! Matter of fact, this confirms to many Baganda within and without the boundaries of the State of Boston the fact that there is a huge management deficit afflicting the Boston Chapter. Besides the apparent lackdaisical manner in which the Chapter is being managed, it has succesfully but sadly been infitrated by the Kampala dictatorship of M7. I am personally glad that Nakato succeeded to expose the mediocrity, greed and treachery within the Executive Management of the Boston Chapter. And now that the gallant elite citizens of the Great Buganda Nation living out right here in the Diaspora and those back home are now fully aware of who stands where on Buganda issues, the ultimate solution to eliminating the wolves in the Gwangamujje Boston Chapter ala Bukenya,Kalemba et.alare at hand. Oh yeah, a bunch of them are indeed nothing but wolves in sheep skin!

Now, I care less whether “Rev. Nakabaale Kaasa” is one and the same as “Rev. Kaasa Nakabaale”. To me, it is all Katemba just like Busagwa has already pointed out. What is important, however, is that we are now anxiously awaiting the outcome of the proceedings and outcome of the Chapter’s Sunday Meeting as chaired and promised by the “true(?)” Rev. Nakabaale. Please do us a favor and post the minutes of that meeting! I hope and pray that it will not be Katemba as usual. Rev. Nakaabale (the genuine one!!!), the ball is now in your court. Sir! Talk to us about the decisions you guys reached in your Sunday meeting!
P.s: Just a word of counselling to the good man of God,the “true” Reverend Nakabaale Kaasa. There are a couple of things you mentioned in your last posting which you should have kept to yourself. For example, you did not have to proclaim to the whole world that you are jobless out there in Manchester – Boston! What was the import of this piece of information to the public on this forum??! Were you seeking cheap sympathy or just to confirm to us that the reason some of guys are readily giving yourselves into the yawning crockdile’s jaws (Read M7) is because you are jobless???
Incidentally, do readers also notice the fact that the “genuine” Rev. Nakabaale and the “fake” Rev. Nakabaale are attacking FDC’s Joe Magandazi with the same ferocity?? How about the similar application of insults towards Joe Magandazi by both the “genuine” and “fake” Nakabaales? Have you also carefully noticed the linguistic competence deficit in the usage of English by both the “genuine” and “fake” Rev. Nakabaale Kaasa??? I am really tempted to think that this is honestly cheap Katemba and I should be more than surprised if the Chapter in Boston weathers the current disorganization storm in its midst. This story of the so-called impersonation by one gentleman for another is an absolute hogwash! You do not need to be a rocket scientist to discern that the two are actually one and the same individual! We here in Hampstead – Montreal (CANADA) are closely following that incredible story in MA, and I must say that we are extremly embarrased by what is unfolding in the Boston Gwangamujje chapter. O.K,let’s temporarily forget the personalities of the “two” gentle Baganda men. Can we now have the true record posted of what was discussed and resolved in the GM that happened on November 09, 2008 at 16 hrs on 14 Felton Street in Waltham?
