Kimbugwe Investigations Get Support From Boston

Tags: , , , , , , ,

Through an email dated April 10, 2010, the Chairman of Ggwanga Mujje Boston thanked Omulangira Mr. Kimbugwe-Kalema for the high-tech investigation he described in an August 7, 2010 email (see “Son of Kabaka’s Representative Says He Used USA Intelligence To Spy On Baganda”).  Omulangira Michael Kimbugwe-Kalema described how he worked with friends in the USA Intelligence community to get what he called proof that two Washington DC Baganda, Mr. Kabonge and Mr. Kambugu wrote the two emails which viciously attacked the Nnabagereka earlier.

The message of thanks and support from the Chairman of Ggwanga Mujje Boston, Mr. John Mayanja, is reproduced below. Only the email addresses have been hidden.

Boycott Elections Until Museveni’s Constitution Is Replaced, Dan Muliika Says

Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

muliika_Boston1On July 5, 2010, a Baganda internet radio called www.ekibakibe.com was broadcasting a speech by retired Buganda Katikkiro, Dan Muliika, where tells Baganda that it makes no sense to participate in the 2011 elections since they will only legitimize Museveni’s dictatorship.  Sources in Boston have confirmed to us that Owek. Muliika made the speech during the last Buganda liberation conference in May 2010. It is not clear at what times Owek. Muliika’s speech is repeated and how long it will stay on www.ekibakibe.com.  You can try your luck to listen to it by going to the site and clicking “Radio” and “Listen Live”.

About Uganda’s system government, the former Katikkiro says, “The electoral commission is Museveni’s personal property, the Parliament is owned by Museveni, the army and police are his and so is the civil service. But even more important, he has looted so much of the national assets; if he loses the elections, it is difficult to imagine how he will be prosecuted or imprisoned by the winner. That is why there is no way he will even allow the situation.”

About the opposition MPs, Owek. Muliika does not mince words. “Real parliamentary opposition disappeared in 1966. People like Betty Kamya and Latigo are mere pawns that Museveni uses to make his government appear legitimate. He uses them to argue to the donors that there is democracy in Uganda.”

On the inter-party coalition (IPC) that includes DP-Buganda, Mulwaanyamuli’s Suubi, FDC, Otunnu’s UPC, and others, Muliika, dismissed the whole idea as a farce that involves people who do not trust each other. He questioned why, if they have clear and intelligent political objectives, they do not form one party but constantly says that they are separate. He  refers to the alliance using a Luganda saying,  “Eyo alliance gyebayita ‘Malako enyama ompe amagumba’” (“That alliance in nothing but a  ‘You can eat the meat but leave the bones’ for me deal”). He calls the IPC evidence of the “politics of intrigue” from which Buganda cannot gain anything.  He challenges the audience to do some thinking with, “Lawaaki oyingira ekitima ekiwedde ng’otunula?” (“How can you blindly enter such an obvious trap with your eyes open?”)

On the holding of elections, Owek. Muliika argues that there should be no elections until Uganda’s constitution reflects the wishes of the citizen, not the current one, which was imposed by Museveni’s government. And until all national institutions are answerable to the people, not to an individual.

The retired Katikkiro called on Baganda in the diasopra to lead in the civic education of our people about their self-determination rights. He used Otunnu as an example, saying, “Although Otunnu is dangerous he still taught Ugandans something good.” He explained the president of UPC, which occupied and terrorized Buganda in 1966, recently taught Ugandans how to resist arbitrary and illegal police arrests by Museveni’s police.

One area that Owek. Muliika advised diaspora Baganda to include in the civic education is genocide. He told them that the Ugandans are practicing genocide against Buganda when they change the name of the kingdom from “Buganda” to “Central Region”. It is also genocide to change “Ssese Islands” [a Buganda county] to “Kalangala District”. All these things the Ugandans are doing by force to erase the identity of Buganda and Baganda are acts of genocide under international law.

Museveni Wants To Arrest Muliika, Boston Pastor

Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

On June 16, 2010 we received an email announcement from a person we now know to be a close advisor to former Katikkiro Dan Muliika. He is a church pastor in the Boston area.

According to the Luganda email, Muliika’s camp has discovered a plot by Museveni to arrest the former Katikkiro.  The email presents no such evidence. However, it asks every one to remember president Museveni’s recent threat to “cut off Buganda’s head”. It is not clear if the email is suggesting that former Katikkiro Dan Muliika is Buganda’a head.

When Owek. Muliika last visted Boston less than 2 months ago, he was declared leader of a new political group to fight Museveni through civic education of all Ugandans.  It was named Ggwanga Mujje International, which some Baganda found offensive. Then less than two weeks ago, Mr. Muliika announced, with former Katikkiro Mulwaanyamuli Ssemwogerere, that he was supporting Uganda’s opposition coalition and Kiiza Besigye.

The email from Owek. Muliika’s Boston based advisor is reproduced in full below:

Kabaka’s Representative Turns Buganda Day Into NRM Party, Ekiba Kibe

Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

kalema_DC_partyOn May 30, 2010, some of Kabaka’s subjects who attended the Baganda Day event in Washington DC were shocked to see it turned into an NRM celebration of their victory over nationalist Baganda in that city.  According to Mr. Kabuye of Ekiba Kibe and two other attendees who sent emails to Buganda Post, the organizers who were led by Prince Fred Kalema-Musoke, who serves as Kabaka’s representative in Washington DC , turned the usually humble event into an NRM celebration.

As Mr. Kabuye says in his June 1, 2001 Ekiba Kibe broadcast,  Buganda flags were barred from the ceremony. And the three “real” princes  of Buganda who were supposed to be the official guests were humiliated when a huge NRM flag was hang over the high table where they sat.  The abuse of members of  Buganda’s royal family did not stop there.  Fred Kalema-Musoke and Mr.  Chris Kizito (the Chairman of Ggwanga Mujje DC) refused a “real” princess and real sister of the Baganda princes  at the high table to enter without paying simply because they know her to be very pro-Buganda. Click on Ekiba_Kibe01Jun10 to listen to the June 1, 2010 Ekiba Kibe broadcast.

Maybe the most shocking thing is that the Kabaka’s representative and his people seemed to do everything in their power to make Buganda Day a Ugandan fashion show and party. In addition to the NRM flags, Prince Kalema-Musoke told the audience that it was unfortunate that ambassador Kamunanwire was not able to attend.  Yet he never mentioned that Kabaka’s representatives from Boston or New York. Prince Kalema-Musoke also encouraged everyone to make sure that they attend UNAA in September 2010, even if Kabaka Mutebi chooses to attend Ttabamiruka in New Jersey.  Then came the real shocker. The usually humble activities at Buganda Day became a real party when a fashion show of American hip clothes started, mostly tiny miniskirt dresses and skimpy blouses. The hot fashion show was later followed by hot dancing and celebration.

The annual Buganda Day event was originally started to remember the attack on Ssekabaka Muteesa II’s Palace on May 24, 1966 and the exile and murder that followed, by Milton Obote’s government. Over the years, the organizers of Buganda Day have displayed the Buganda flag, honored Baganda elders in attendance, made speeches about  the occupation of Buganda, eaten dinner and watched some traditional Baganda dancers. But the message was always clear: get together as Baganda to remember the suffering that the Kabaka and his subjects have seen since 1996. This year the whole things was turned a party where even Buganda flags were not allowed, since it could annoy the NRM government.

Kabaka Expected At Ttabamiruka ’10

Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

ttabamiruka10cardTtabamiruka ’10, the premier Baganda conference in the diaspora, shall take place on September 3-6, 2010 in the township of East Brunswick, New Jersey. We have been informed by a reliable source in Mmengo Bulange that the Lion of Buganda, Ssabasajja Kabaka Mutebi II is expected to grace Ttabamiruka ’10 and the organizers are in discussions with Mmengo. According to the conference website www.tabamiruka.com, the theme of the conference is “Freedom is Not Free!”.   You can download the conference card and poster from the conference website by clicking here on Card and Poster respectively. You can also listen to Ttabamiruka advertisements the May 28, 2010 Ekiba Kibe program by clicking on Ekiba_Kibe28May10B.

The Ttabamiruka conference which is sponsored  by Ggwangamujje NY/NJ, is the only major Baganda  conference that is fully independent of the NRM influence. This will be the 3rd Ttabamiruka conference sponsored by Ggwangamujje NY/NJ since 2007 and the first one since the Kayunga massacres and the burning of Kasubi Tombs.  Kabaka Mutebi, the then Katikkiro Ssendaula, Omutaka Alan Nakirembeka and officials from Buganda Government and the Lukiiko attended Ttabamiruka ‘07. Ttabamiruka ’08 was boycotted by the Buganda Government under Katikkiro Walusimbi. The $195 registration and $85 hotel room at high class Hilton Hotels make Ttabamiruka ‘10 the most affordable so far.

In the meantime, the battle between UADA and UNAA, which are organizing competing conferences for Ugandans on September 36, 2010 continues to offer colourful developments.  More information is coming out linkimg UADA president,  Mr. Ssenkumba, to convicts Eric Mukasa and Julius Kabukuru (see “Competition Between UNAA and UADA Heats Up, Ssenkumba Accused of Hiding In Bu”). We now can report that Mr. Ssenkumba was an associate of the two criminals in the tax preparation and other businesses before they went to prison. We can also report that Mr. Ssenkumba is well known both to certain Buganda government officials and members of Museveni’s state house as a rich man.  Certain officials in the two institutions are known to be doing or trying to do deals with Mr. Ssenkumba.

But it is not only the UADA main financial and president who is accused of serious problems. UNAA is also haveing a tough time after learning that Nnabagereka Sylvia Nnaginda would be betraying the Kabaka and people of Buganda if she attended NRM financed UNAA Washington. Their reaction has been to print even more materials claiming that the Nnabagereka will be there.

Muliika Head Of New Ugandan Political Organization, Press Release By Ggwanga Mujje Boston

Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

<br />According to unsigned press release from the leaders of Ggwanga Mujje Boston, former Buganda Katikkiro Muliika is the leader of a new Uganda political group committed to ousting the president of the NRM occupation government. The press release was issued at what was widely advertised on Free Buganda Radio as a Buganda liberation conference (“Olukiiko lw’Okununula Obuganda”). The publicity brochure for the conference clearly stated that the purpose of the conference was (a) the progress made so far on the work of liberating Buganda and (b) how to deal with the coming 2011 elections. However, the press release the press release says: “The purpose of the meeting was to launch Ggwanga Mujje International.”

The press release also states that: “At the end of the conference Mr. Muliika was elected President-General of Ggwanga Mujje International by acclamation.” However, it does not say if Ggwanga Mujje chapters in other cities officially endorsed the idea of a Ugandan anti-Museveni political party called Ggwanga Mujje International. What is clear is that some Baganda nationalists who insist on liberating Buganda from Ugandan occupation were disappointed that former Katikkiro Muliika has joined the anti-Buganda Ugandan politics. One of them sent to us a copy of yesterday’s Ekiba Kibe program saying that she supports Mr. Robert Kabuye’s campaign that Baganda should stay away from Museveni’s NRM elections.

The May 1, 2010 Buganda/Uganda conference also, in its press release, urged the Nnabagereka: “to refrain from participating in the functions of the Uganda North America Associations (UNAA).

Ggwanga Mujje International is born

On May 1, 2010, members of Ggwanga Mujje convened in a mammoth meeting at 920 Trapello Rd in Waltham Massachusetts. The purpose of the meeting was to launch Ggwanga Mujje International. The keynote speaker was Owek. Dan Muliika retired Katikkiro of Buganda. Mr. Muliika gave a rousing speech about political freedom and federalism in Uganda.

Addressing the delegates who came mainly from New York, New Jersey, Illinois, California and, of course, the whole of Massachusetts, the retired Katikkiro declared amidst a thunderous applause of the delegates: “Human rights are not for negotiation; they inherently belong to the people. The right to self-determination is recognized by international law. Therefore we cannot beg the leaders to give us a federal system of government. We must assert our right as a sovereign people to determine our destiny and the system of government we want and deserve.”

After the keynote speech the audience was given a chance to ask questions. Most people expressed sadness about political repression going on in their motherland. They cited rampart corruption that has further impoverished the poor while enriching the corrupt in government. The consensus was that a federal system of government is the best solution to Uganda’s perennial problems.

At the end of the conference Mr. Muliika was elected President-General of Ggwanga Mujje International by acclamation. His primary mission is to educate Ugandans about federalism and political freedom.

The Conference passed resolutions to concretize and implement the ideas, proposals and suggestions raised and discussed at the conference:

We members of Ggwanga Mujje committed to the full restoration of political freedom and the establishment of federal system of governance in Uganda do hereby

1. Re-affirm our previous resolution that Museveni and his corrupt regime must be removed from power in Uganda in order for true democracy to take root in the nation, including the establishment of a mechanism that unconditionally guarantees to all citizens of the country internationally verifiable, free and fair elections.

2. Reenact our previous resolutions to raise funds by starting with ourselves who are gathered here today. The funds so raised, will be supplemented by others sources, and will be mainly spent directly on financing civic education in Buganda and in other parts of Uganda about the benefits of federal governance for the whole of Uganda.

3. Unanimously elect by acclamation retired Katikkiro of Buganda, Owek. Dan Muliika, to represent us in Buganda and to spearhead our efforts to achieve our political goals in Buganda and Uganda, and hereby pledge to support him and his team to the full extent of our collective abilities.

4. Declare the creation of Ggwanga Mujje International which will be headed by Owek. Dan Muliika as a vehicle for achieving our objectives.

5. Note with appreciation the long standing practice of the political neutrality of the His Majesty the Kabaka of Buganda and his official members of the Royal Palace, and urge the Nnabagereka to refrain from participating in the functions of the Uganda North America Associations (UNAA).

UDFU Summit Conflicts With Boston Baganda Conference

Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

According to a press release issued by the Uganda Democratic Federal Union (UDFU), the organization will host a summit on human rights on May 1, 2010. UDFU is led by Mr. Remigius Kintu, a long Washington DC Muganda resident. At least two times this year Mr. Kintu attended and spoke very prominently at the Boston Buganda emergency meetings hosted by Ggwanga Mujje Boston. For about  4 or 5 weeks Ekiba Kibe program on Free Buganda Radio has been advertising that Ggwanga Mujje Boston will host a Buganda liberation conference on May 1, 2010 (see “Ggwanga Mujje Boston To Hold Buganda Emergency Conference On May 1st”).

The decision by Mr. Kintu’s group to announce a competing conference on the same day as the Boston Baganda meeting, so late in the game, may not go well with the Boston group led by Mr. John Mayanja.

Mr. Remigius Kintu describes himself on the Linked In network as the owner of  Blue Nile Trading Corp. and International Trade and a development consultant. Among the other speakers at the UDFU summit is Dr. Sulayman S. Nyang  professor and chairman of the African Studies Department at Howard University in Washington, D.C. Dr. Nyang is a Gambian who previously worked as an advisor to the NRM government. Also among the speakers is Mr. Yoga Adhola, a UPC activist and former editor of Milton Obote’s The People newspaper. When he writes to Internet discussion groups, Mr. Adhola usually finishes with: “Mr. Adhola belongs to the UPC’s conservative wing of leftist purists and was editor of the party’s newspaper, The People, during Obote II”. Milton Obote is the former Uganda president who overthrew the Uganda constitution in 1966, exiled Ssekabaka Edward Muteesa II, and is blamed for poisoning the former Kabaka.

The UDFU press conference is reproduced in full below:

Columbia, MD, April 29, 2010 – Urgent Conference on Uganda: Saturday, May 1, Washington, DC

The Uganda Democratic Federal Union (UDFU), led by Remigius Kintu, will host a summit on human rights, “Urgent Conference on Uganda,” Saturday, May 1, in Washington, D.C. Presenters will address President Yoweri Museveni’s eradication of open elections, his massacre of all Ugandans who oppose him, and the conflict in U.S. policy which simultaneously denounces and supports his regime.

“UDFU’s open forum will feature defenders of political freedom from all over the world,” said Kintu. “Speakers and attendees will develop strategies to expose and redirect the Obama administration’s support of Uganda’s oppressive government.” Saturday’s program will be held at the University Graduate School, 1325 D Street, S.E., Washington, D.C., from 1:00 to 7:00 pm.

The UDFU believes Uganda can be democratically governed in the future once Museveni has been ousted. “We hope to establish a more democratic regime as early as 2011,” said speaker Deo Kawunde-Miti. “We will bring the best players together to devise ways of running upcoming campaigns, utilizing new social media in the villages to circumvent Museveni’s blockade of conventional news media, and contest every elected official from East to West.”

The conference will also address the Obama Administration’s ongoing support of Museveni despite the dictator’s abysmal human rights record and authoritarian rule that stand in opposition to President Obama’s and Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton’s stated foreign policy objectives.

The opposition to Museveni contends the United State’s support of democracy in Africa is tempered by policy considerations that elevate U.S. strategic interests in the resource-rich African great lakes region over traditional American values. The United States State Department, Central Intelligence Agency, and other federal agencies use Uganda as a central stage for operations throughout the African great lakes region. Museveni has curried favor with US administrations by assisting in the war against terrorism and by contributing 3,000 Ugandan soldiers to the peacekeeping efforts in Somalia.

Uganda is the latest example of United State’s support of dictatorial regimes in Africa, Asia, and Latin America – a policy that extends back to Guatemala in the 1950s, Chile under General Pinochet in the 1970s, and Saddam Hussein in Iraq in the 1980s and 1990s.

Museveni first seized power in Uganda in 1986.  He continued to rule in the 1990s through sham elections. In 2001, he had the term limit provision of the Ugandan constitution eliminated so that he could, in effect, be “President for life.”

The urgency of this conference is underscored by Museveni’s escalating human rights violations. In April, Museveni’s security officers shot and killed in cold blood 20 Ugandan students engaged in a nonviolent demonstration against Museveni in Kampala.

The UDFU “Urgent Conference on Uganda” will feature the following topics and speakers:  “Democracy, Ethnicity and National Unity” by Dr. Sulayman S. Nyang Ph.D., Professor of African Studies, Howard University, Washington D.C.

“The 24 years of Museveni and his NRM* dictatorship; its effect on Uganda and the great Lakes region” by Mr. Yoga Adhola, political activist and former editor of The People Newspaper. (*Museveni’s National Resistance Movement)

“Non-violence through Economic Boycott and Embargo” by Dr. John DiJoseph Ph. D., Professor of Non-Violence Studies, Loyola Graduate University, Columbia, MD.

“The Discovery of abundant oil and gold in Uganda. Is it a blessing or a curse?” by Mr. E. Leopold Edwards, founding member of TransAfrica Forum; Chairman, National Coalition on Caribbean Affairs Inc., Silver Spring, MD.

“Federal Governance in Uganda” by Mr. Remigius Kintu, Chairman, UDFU, and author, Africa, My Beloved: A Liberation Plan for a Free & Sovereign Continent, American Heritage Publishers.

“Uganda After Museveni and his NRM Regime” by Mr. Deo Kawunde-Miti, Educator; Graduate of Makerere University, political Activist with Uganda Young Democrats.

Closing Remarks by Remigius Kintu will be followed by a question and answer period and discussions. There is a $20 tax-deducted donation suggested. Refreshments will be served.

Ggwanga Mujje Boston To Hold Buganda Emergency Conference On May 1st

Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

The Buganda Liberation conference that Mr. Robert Kabuye has been announcing on his SMS based Ekiba Kibe program  for the last 4-6 weeks is all set for Saturday May 1, 2010. According to an email we received from a source in Boston who is close to the organizers, the Baganda conference will discuss two key topics. The first topic is the progress made so far on the work of liberating Buganda. The second topic is how to deal with the coming 2011 elections. The email from our source did not provide details about speakers.

It is not yet clear why a conference that is supposed to be about how to liberate Buganda from occupation by the Uganda army will spend half of its attention on the next Uganda elections, which are organized by the occupation NRM government. Similary, we do not yet have information on the speakers. In the past only Baganda politicians have attended Boston Baganda conferences – Abed Bwanika, Hussein Kyanjo and Betty Kamya.

The “Olukiiko Lw’Okununula O’Buganda” conference will be held at Our Lady Comforter of The Afflicted, 920 Trapello Road, Waltham, MA 02462.

Boston Baganda Decampaign NRM Fundraising For Kasubi, Free Buganda Radio

Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

ruhakana_Rugunda1According to the Waltham page under www.boston.com, non-Baganda Ugandans in the Boston area: “will gather at Waltham Square Saturday to share their condolences and raise money for the Kasubi Tombs, an important Ugandan landmark that was destroyed in a fire last month.” Many Baganda were not impressed and mounted  a campaign to boycott the NRM funded event and, if possible to have Mmengo reject the funds.  Click  on Ekiba_Kibe22Apr10A to listen to the campaign by Baganda using Ekiba Kibe program on SMS based Free Buganda Radio.

The online article quotes Ruth Ndyabahika,  a Rwandese and one of the event organizers saying that: “the tombs are culturally important to Ugandans and many are feeling the loss.”  This writer has also seen information from the organizers showing that the event is sponsored by non-Baganda groups of Ugandans like Twegayite and Banyakigezi. Ironically, members of these same group openly made fun of Buganda and labelled the Kabaka of Buganda a trouble-maker. When Baganda in Boston and New York/New Jersey organized events to mourn the loss of Kasubi Tombs these non-Baganda kept away.

As of Friday April 23, 2010, the NRM’s chief agents in the USA, Perez Kamunanwire and Ruhakana Rugunda planned to attend, with Rugunda as chief guest. Funding for the event reportedly came from the New York NRM station chief, Rugunda.

The main concerns are that (a)  organization such as Banyakigezi and Twegayite never send any condolences to established Baganda institutions like Ggwangamujje NY/NJ or Ggwangamujje Boston or to the elected Kabaka’s representatives in area, (b) in the organizers minds, Kasubi Tombs are just a Uganda landmark or tourist attraction, As one email we got from Boston put it: “Bano Abakiga n’Abasoga abamu balowooza nti obukulu bwa Kasubi tourism. Kiringa Omuyitale obutamanya nti Vatican eri ku mutima gwa buli Mukatuliki, ye nalowooza nti omugaso gwaayo kuleeta balambuzi mu Yitale.” (“Some of these Bakiga and Basoga think that the most important things about Kasubi is being a tourist site. It is like an Italian who does not understand that the hearts of Roman Catholics and thinks that the Vatican is an Italian tourist attraction.”)

The campaign by the NRM to promote Kasubi as a “Ugandan” historical site is especially sensitive to Baganda because it suggests intentional cultural genocide. To them, Kasubi is an active burial site for Buganda’s Kabakas and all grand children of its founder, Ssekabaka Muteesa II. Members of the fast reviving Basamize (Buganda native religion) movement believe that the spirits of all the four Kabakas buried at Kasubi live in the  Kibira section of the tombs. Miraculous, the Kibira was not destroyed by the Kasubi fire on  3/16 due to a sudden cloud of rain that fell for a few minutes just before the whole building could get destroyed.

Rwandese Soldier Returns To Ekiba Kibe, Talks About Kasubi

Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

In late February and early March 2010, a man called Ntare told listeners of SMS based Ekiba Kibe program that he is a former Rwandese soldier both in Uganda and Rwanda, who is now a Canadian citizen (see “Rwandese Former Soldier Says Baganda Must Stop Being Cowards” and “We Don’t Want You To Fight For Us, Kabuye Tells Rwandese Soldier”). He warned Baganda that Museveni intended to destroy Buganda. On March 26, 2010, Ekiba Kibe’s Robert Kabuye brought Ntare back to the Free Buganda Radio studios to discuss the burning of Buganda’s sacred Kasubi Tombs.

Ntare, claimed that Museveni is the one who burnt the Kasubi tombs and explained that Museveni’s reasons for doing it are (1) to hit Buganda enough to kill all her strength (“ayagala abakube abamalemu amaanyi”), (2) he is testing to see if your are still united (“abagezaako amanyi alabe oba mukyaali wamu”). Mr. Kabuye then asked Ntare why Baganda must trust him: “Why should we trust you; right now we are not even willing to shake your hand. How do we know you are not Museveni’s agent?” (“Tunakwesiga tutya; kubanga kati tetusobola nakukwaata mu ngalo. Tukwesiga tutya nti toli agent wa Museveni?”). Ntare claimed that his goal is to fight injustices as a freedom fighter. But he also admitted that there was no reason why Mr. Kabuye should trust him.

Ntare also said Museveni is using “divide and rule” to confuse Baganda.. Ntare told Mr. Kabuye Museveni will keep bribing certain Baganda to create problems for strong Baganda nationalists. If that fails Museveni will try to directly try to bribe the same Baganda nationalists. And if that fails, he will use murder.
