One of Sekanyolya’s most reliable sources in President Museveni’s security apparatus has confided that members of the president’s state house conned the Katikkiro of Buganda, to expose his dismal political skills and accelerate his demise. And the reason is that the M********** president of Uganda now wants to see Walusimbi fired since he has become irrelevant to his (Museveni’s) strategy to crush Buganda and Kabaka Mutebi.
According to the source, Ruhakana Rugunda and state house intentionally decided to “disorganize” Walusimbi when they lied to him that government security agencies had learnt of sinister plans against the Kabaka in connection with his planned trip to Nakasongola. The lie was delivered by someone whose name will not be revealed, to protect Sekanyolya’s sources. The statehouse operatives were pleasantly surprised when Walusimbi panicked. The source says, “He was very one dimensional about it. He only consulted his most trusted cabinet members, most of whom have the same outlook as himself. Then he decided to write to government, expressing fears about the safety of Kabaka Mutebi.”
Walusimbi fell into the trap right away and that is why Ruhakana Rugunda has been confidently telling the news papers that the Katikkiro was the first one to bring up security concerns. The state house boys could not believe their luck. The only problem is that Walusimbi had delivered himself so fast that they did not even have a reason to claim budget. Anyway, they quickly realized that they could make several million under the cover of having to fake the security problem that Walusimbi had bought. So they requisitioned several millions from the state house comptroller’s office to facilitate Mukasa Muruli, Mwogeza Butamanya, and a few Baluuli youth to fake a security risk situation. It is that fake security risk that Ruhakana Rugunda cited after he executed Museveni’s order not to allow Kabaka Mutebi to turn off the Gulu main Road and enter Nakasongola town.
Trapped by Museveni’s men, Walusimbi wasted critical time trying to secretly negotiate with Ruhakana Rugunda and Kale Kayihura while Buganda was anxiously waiting for bold leadership. It is not clear yet how Kabaka Mutebi saw through all the nonsense, decided to forget Walusimbi and took off for Buluuli on Tuesday morning. However, the Kabaka’s decision sent a strong message to Baganda all over the world that Walusimbi has successfully made himself irrelevant in the battle to save Buganda from destruction by Mueseveni and his NRM.
Sekanyolya’s Kampala based legal advisor supports the theory that Museveni is no longer interested in Walusimbi. He rhetorically asked Sekanyola over a couple of beers last Sunday, “What can Walusimbi offer Museveni now? He failed to shut down Nambooze and Lubega Sseggona, Museveni’s biggest annoyances. And he has no control over Bulange and most Baganda outside the NRM, especially the fearless youths, have no respect for him.”
The consultant told Sekanyolya that Walusimbi also made a huge blander to ignore the nationalistic Baganda in Europe and USA, where Museveni had hoped to use him to infiltrate and gain control over Ttabamiruka as well as consolidate control over the UNAA convention. He added, “The Kisubi old boy lacks the political skills that Kabaka Mutebi would expect from any Katikkiro and the shrewdness that Museveni had hoped for. So, ironically, Kabaka Mutebi and the M********** president of Uganda appear to agree on one thing, none of them seems to be interested in the services of Engineer JB Walusimbi.”

Dear Maama,
Muliyo mutya nnyabo since we spoke on the phone. Ffe tuli bulungi. The holiday season is winding up and the pace at work is starting to pick up as the weather gets cooler and everyone runs out of vacation (leave) days.
The big thing that happened this week is that shocking story in the Red Pepper about some people planting a bomb at Bulange to get Namunswa. I don’t know if Kazibwe started bringing you printouts of Sekanyolya and Buganda Post. But we have read Buganda Post.com that the whole thing was probably a hoax by the government to create deniability for them selves in case violent events take place. Anyway please make sure to tell fellow Baganda about this evil game and warn them.
On something else. I hope Namu told you how the Ttabamiruka meeting of 2008 went. Maama, I cannot tell you how great this year’s meeting was. Absolutely you must come next year. It will be in Boston and your friend’s daughter might be one of the organizers, I don’t know yet. But in New Jersey, we made it very clear that we are “tired” of being afraid of Banamawanga in our own Buganda. I am sure that you will be happy to read our resolutions. One of them tells the whole world that we stand by Ssabasajja and drop all “butitiizi”. Your friend “madam teacher” Nambooze was a big hit even though some ministers in Mengo sabotaged her visa and she failed to come. But her video message showed what a brave woman she is. It made many of us cry. Kyanjo, Betty Kamya and Muliika really delivered. Museveni’s Nankabirwa and Tamale Mirundi were left speechless. That is why people even started discussing about setting a Buganda Government in exile, to focus on saving Kabaka Mutebi and Buganda who are victims of the cowardice and corruption of certain people you know at Mengo.
Tell Kazibwe to go to the web café and print you a copy of our resolutions from BugandaPost.Com.
I know that you will complain if I don’t say something about your “tall boyfriend” Obama. BO is doing very well now but he was really shaken by the excitement that vice president candidate Sarah Pelin brought to the Republican side. Pray for him because things change very first here. For example, in just a few days this huge economy of ours has gone into total panic and we don’t know where it will end. By the way both our neighbors have lost their Wall Street jobs. I hope you remember Schumer as well as the Rubinos. Even fellow Baganda whom you might know have been affected, please pray for them.
Let me stop here and wish you a great weekend. I might even call you on Sunday. Don’t forget the medicine as well as the Centrum. Tell Kazibwe and everyone else that we love them.
Tusabire nnyo Kabaka ne Buganda.
Loving son

A Muganda security expert living in North America has rubbished the story that appeared in the pornographic Red Pepper news paper, reporting that “Kabaka Mutebi survived death by a whisker last night after security agents diffused a bomb placed near the gates of Bulange”. The expert who requested that his identity not be disclosed because of his current job, told Buganda Post by email that this story has the fingerprints of Mr. Museveni’s clumsy security apparatus. The full email reads:
Fellow patriotic Baganda:
I want you and your children to know that the story which Mr. Museveni’s government planted in Red Pepper can only be a fake, but must be taken very seriously. It is a fake because the facts don’t add up. Who in Uganda not only hates Mutebi (motive) but also has the capacity (means) to secretly import or make, transport to Bulange and stage a sophisticated remote control bomb? Baganda hatters like Kasirivu Atwooki, Elly Karuhanga and Kahinda Otafire? Or is it Kenya, Tanzania or Congo? Even a novice security person in a serious country will tell you that Mr. Museveni’s government is unique in having both the motive and means to commit the crime.
And Baganda must remember that Museveni’s government has done this kind of thing with Kabaka before. About 2-3 years ago, when Kabaka Mutebi’s relationship with Museveni was strained, CMI boys threateningly trailed Kabaka’s car through Kampala and abandoned their aggression only after the royal guards fired shots above the CMI vehicle. We later learnt that their intention was to intimidate Kabaka Mutebi and Mengo.
I assure you that this was the work of Museveni’s Police Anti Terrorism Unit (PATU) or Joint Anti Terrorism Unit (JATT), the same people painted as the “saviors” by the Red Pepper. Because they are also the only ones with enough training to stage the whole thing. And the motive appears to be simple, to intimidate the Kabaka Mutebi, Abataka and Mengo radicals into negotiating with Museveni on his terms. The problem is that this stupid move is also extremely dangerous. The people doing this are so drunk with arrogance that they don’t realize that if anything went wrong and the bomb went off, many Baganda might die. And if that happens, hell could break loose in Kampala and thousands of people, especially Banyankore, Banyarwanda and Banyoro could become instant revenge targets. Obviously Museveni’s thinking and plan is that Baganda are the ones who would be massacred. He is like a child playing with matches and every Muganda must stay alert! By the way, you could not rule Rwanda out 100% but what would be their motive?
Wangaala Ssabasajja!!!!
Red Pepper, exclusively owned and ran by Banyankore and Bakiga, is East Africa’s only openly sold pornographic newspaper. Many political analysts in Buganda believe that the paper is decoy operation of Mr. Museveni’s security apparatus. Its initial capital came from Museveni’s brother Salim Saleh and the government frequently uses it to float stories of a controversial nature. Conservative Baganda view the Red Pepper as one of Mr. Museveni’s biggest onslaughts against Baganda culture. Despite numerous public demonstrations in Buganda against the papers highly pornographic content, Mr. Museveni staunchly supports the Red Pepper. And over the years, the alien culture of pornography has taken root in Buganda.

Buganda’s information minister Charles Peter Mayiga, his deputy Medard Lubega and the chairperson of the Civic Education Committee Betty Nambooze were arrested on Friday, allegedly for inciting violence, promoting sectarianism, attempts to acquire fire-arms and terrorism. Lubega’s arrest came a few hours before the start of a major Buganda Conference on land, governance and human rights. Nambooze and Mayiga were picked up a few hours after the conference. According to sources close to the Uganda State House the arrests appear to have been precipitated by fear, on the part of government, that the trio might use the highly successful Buganda Conference as a fuel to energize their campaign against Mr. Museveni’s proposed land law.
On July 20th the Kabaka’s government issued a press release officially announcing what is now widely believed in Buganda to be a coordinated effort to intimidate the people of Buganda. (English and Luganda versions of the press release were posted on www.bugandapost.com) The Buganda kingdom cabinet had met and resolved to use peaceful means to secure the release of their officials. During the cabinet meeting hundreds of youth gathered outside the Bulange, chanting the Buganda anthem, holding signs denouncing the NRM government and offering their services towards securing the release of the political prisoners. At the time of this report the where abouts of the three Buganda officials were still unknown. According to legal experts in Kampala the continued detention of the three officials without being produced in court is illegal under Uganda laws. They explained that Uganda laws require the police to take anyone they arrest to court within fourty-eight hours. Further more, given the gravity of the allegations by Mr. Museveni’s government, the officials should be presented to a high court. More details on this important story will follow as it unfolds.
