Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II has congratulated all Christians upon the completion of the holly lent period.  Below is his full message, released by the Buganda national government:

We congratulate all Christians upon having completed the holy period of lent.

We thank the lord for the gift of life which has helped us reach this glorious day of Easter.

The lent has been a period of counseling and renewing our relationship with God and to that of our fellow people.

Every one of us is a witness of what is currently happening in our country, we are very, very much worried and it is not a good symbol to the country.

And for that matter, despite the end of the lent period, Christians should continue praying to God so that He strengthens their faith for the good of our country.
